Villa Siliqua, our home
Salvatore, after having bought it in the 80s, restored and renovated it with care and love to bring it to its present state and make it his "paradise" and his family's home.

Unforgettable memories of our lives are linked to this house, we have enriched it to offer it to the hospitality of the people who come to discover this corner of Sicily, hoping that in those who know and live it will remain a sign in the soul and a memory beauty of our places and our land that will accompany him over the years.
Curiosity
Ceratonia siliqua is the name of the tree family to which the carob tree belongs, whose name derives from the Arabic “kharrub”.
In the province of Ragusa there is over 70% of the national carob tree area. In the past, carob seeds, called "carats", thanks to their constant weight, were used as counterweights for precision weighing: the name still indicates the unit of measurement of the weight of gold and precious stones (one carat equals one fifth of a gram).
